Classes are 40-50 minutes in duration & each day will have a main body part focus; example is Mondays are Quads & Back. Templates will change day to day but overall each exercise is under time and class will move together. You will be told what weight you are lifting for the day at the start of class followed by the trainer explaining and demoing each exercise you will see in class! Classes will be lead by Megan or Aaron. Always expect a heavy main focus lift & some cardio moves!
You should bring a water bottle and a sweat towel! There are cubbies for you to set your things in along with 2 bathrooms!
To see results, the most important thing to focus on is consistency. We are providing you with the workout, weight selection and motivation- it's up to you to show up and work hard! 3-4 classes a week is what we suggest to grasp the whole body strength gains, but depending on what your specific goal is will depend on how long it could take to see results. It can take longer to gain muscle than it does to lose fat!
YES! We welcome all ages and fitness levels to AMF. All exercises can be modified and changed to better suit you and your fitness level, as well as any injuries or restrictions you may have. Just make sure to let us know before class so we can better accommodate you through the workout!
