Alpha Mentality Fitness is a personalized group training class focused on strength gains under time. Rooted in Metabolic Conditioning, AMF's workouts are designed to improve cardiovascular endurance, build lean muscle mass and reduce body fat. Each class is 40-50 minutes and pushes you to be mentally and physically stronger. The workouts are based on traditional weightlifting and cardio movements. Our group training atmosphere is created to encourage the community to get stronger and have fun doing it!
Metabolic Training or METCON, combines higher intensity strength and metabolic intervals with cardiovascular training to produce maximum gains in muscle development, strength and cardiovascular improvements. In other words, maximum strength training mixed with cardiovascular training, results in building muscle and burning more calories. This is different than HIIT training as they both intend to raise your heart rate with cardiovascular movements; METCON is centered around maximum strength exercises.
